Vanessa Brazeau

Vanessa Brazeau (b.1986, Niagara Falls, CA) is an interdisciplinary artist working primarily in public space. She sees physical actions of the body as tools for education, empowerment and re-translation, using movement and gesture to playfully create chaos and contingent circumstances in everyday routines. She presents her perspective to others through high-performance performances and situations that encourage participation, activation and resistance.
